We have a date, we have a location, we are getting ready for our 100 year celebration. You may not know or remember that next year, 2020, will be the 100th year of the Mary B Thorne club. Our committee is working hard with planning, logistics and pulling it all together. We want to see you there so SAVE THE DATE.
The time has not been finalized. There will be more information to come starting in January. We want to see you there.
2019 Breakfast Meeting
All of us have heard the Mary B Thorne story, at least how the club started.
Since the 60’s, many of us have benefited from financial support from the club. All of us know what it feels like to have some help with furthering our education. We see what our help does for our newest members. We hear how personal it is for them to receive our scholarship.
In the past the majority of the scholarship funds were generated from proceeds of the Don Montgomery Memorial Golf Tournament. As the golf tournament no longer exists, we now rely on donations from our members, family and friends in order to fund future scholarships.
You have an opportunity to help continue the purpose of the Mary B Thorne club for at least another 100 years. We need your donation to ensure we continue to serve the Monrovia High School community.
